To celebrate creativity, laughter, and the wonderful community of people who have visited or ordered from Nature’s Country Store, we’re hosting a light-hearted contest — and the prize is the striking metal sculpture shown above. It’s bold, modern, and definitely a conversation piece.

And winning it is simple.

How to Enter

Finish the story below in 150 words or less:

“You wake up one morning and discover your pet can suddenly talk. Their very first sentence is, ‘Okay, we need to discuss something…’ Finish the story.”

Your ending can be funny, surprising, heartfelt, mischievous — whatever feels most you. Humor tends to win hearts, but creativity counts too.

How the Winner Is Chosen

We will read all entries and choose the one that makes us laugh the most or delights us in some unexpected way. The winning story will be featured on the NCS website (with permission).
